as governor, i felt the top priorities with state government, education and law enforcement. the way you pay for it is with a vibrant economy where people are working and businesses are prospering, not higher taxes. what needs to be done at the federal level is set a priority and clearly national defense as paramount responsibility of the federal government enumerated in the constitution. what needs to be done is make cuts elsewhere, but the other aspect of it is lets grow the economy....
